Vlastnik's is truly one of my favorite places on Earth. I'm from the Illinois Valley but moved away decades ago. I'm now a part-time seasonal resident again and just love the fact that they're still in business, this now being their 100th year! I have fond memories of shopping for my first suit with my father, and visiting the store with my grandfathers as well. My brothers and I bought our LP St, Bede letterman's jackets there in the late 70s. I bought a suit that I wore to my dad's funeral there, and again years later for my mom's funeral. I try to make it into the store at least once per year, whether I need anything or not, and I always need something! They're well stocked with high quality and quite reasonably priced merchandise that spans a wide variety of men's clothing needs. But most importantly, you can know with certainty that every time you walk into their door, you'll be warmly greeted and treated with respect and patience. Their customer service is truly outstanding and always ever so gentlemanly. I'm so glad that they're still there, right where they've always been, doing what they do so well. I love this place and the tradition that it represents for me and my family. I'm confident that you will have great shopping experiences there too.
